Our home lost all electrical power Wednesday evening, at 5:30 p.m. to be more precise. At 5:30 p.m. the temperature in Beautiful Bakersfield, CA, was 106.
I have no idea how hot it was in our home during the night, but it was truly awful. Sitting in a dark house with a few flashlights as the only source of light, was not my choice of entertainment. Heck, we couldn't even sit comfortably, since we both have power recliners ... and there was no power!! Aarrgh!!
Anyway, this time it was uncontrollable circumstances that prevented me from getting out the post on the usual day. Still too tired to be fully functional, so just attaching a picture from a prior post for your viewing pleasure. Bob up a tree. Nifty.

Oh gross. Our power tends to burp out in winter, then you worry about freezing pipes, not roasting in your own nome! Time to look at generators!
Well, we have looked at generators ... ouch$$! (Besides, I need that money for my Bob stuff.)
