My, but wasn't he Precious!

On the back of this photo, someone, I'm guessing Marian, wrote Dec. 16, 1929.  I'm also guessing it is the day she finally received it in the mail to add to her movie collection or, perhaps, to just begin her Robert Montgomery collection.  Lucky girl, Marian.

This is the oldest original autograph I have of Mr. Montgomery.  I have fan cards stamped with an early autograph of Bob's.  This auto has smoothed out some, but he is still using 'Sincerely yours' instead of 'All good wishes.'  The development of his autograph has a way to go, as does Mr. Montgomery.  But wasn't he precious!
