A Friday Quiz (On a Thursday...Forgot What Day it was!)


I ran across an article in a 1929 trade magazine that described the young Robert Montgomery as being a spitting image of Charles Lindbergh.   I thought, "Really?"  Okay, they were both tall and quite slim in their youth, but...  Anyway, I dug out a few photos of the young Lindbergh to compare them with Bob.  Well, darn it, I think they were right after all.  Quick ... which of the following seven photos are Bob and which are Lindbergh?

Okay, 1, 3, 4, 5 & 7 are Lindy. 2 & 6 are Bob. Bob was MUCH better looking! Just sayin...

Okay, okay ... Lindy wasn't exactly Bob's doppelganger, certainly not without the helmets. But IMO there's a touch of Bob there, particularly No. 3. Bob just had a unique face, the mold was used once and broken. And, Carrie, I certainly did not mean to imply that Jimmy and Lindy weren't the perfect couple ...
