These Joel and Garda Sloane films were hoped by MGM to turn out as popular as the Thin Man films. They weren't... partly I think because they kept changing the stars. Loved Bob and Roz in anything together.
I remember Lucy and Ricky were both in separate beds and twin beds like this during the I Love Lucy series. Of course it was a whole big thing just to say Lucy was pregnant at the time on TV
Changing stars and not having as good quality of scripts as the Thin Man films, particularly the earlier ones ... and not having Bill and Myrna in them! Yeah, the Fast films just didn't catch on.
Except for the movies, I don't believe I actually saw a twin bed until I moved into my 1st-year college dorm.
