Not that bad of a review. Well, except for giving up what happens to Dame May Whitty. And too much about Bob's character. But they are right on about Bob's performance! (From the May 21st, 1937 issue of The Family Circle. Nice birthday gift to Mr. Montgomery.)

Love this movie! So creepy and I love how it was acting and nothing to do with gory special effects. That scene in the kitchen in the middle of the night is awesome. I may need to watch it this weekend.
Now that's an excellent idea ... watch it late in the evening with a glass of wine, or two. Bob is just superb in the movie, particularly near the end when he starts to lose it. Love our Danny.
