Director Bob and Actor Jimmy ... would love to have heard the discussions between the two old pros on the set of The Gallant Hours. Below is the finished scene from the movie. I think Jim is doing an excellent job of standing and looking. Excellent directing by Bob, I'm sure.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful pics! I love seeing these two extraordinary men together. They were such very close friends. In some ways they were very different, in others, not at all.
But the friendship worked very well indeed!

I love the Jimmy/Bob photos as well, the obvious feelings they had for each other always show through in their photos.
