It's Ray Milland radio time - The Uninvited on Screen Director's Playhouse, November 18, 1949. It's only a half hour, so it loses a lot of the story, but it's interesting nonetheless. No where as good as the movie though.

Oh my goodness! Where did you find this? Loved the movie, very spooky.
I have a ton of old shows I've picked up from here & there. The radio version is no where as good as the movie...but still a fun listen!
You are right, not that good but fun. I heard the name June Foray announced at the end as one of the actors. Don't know if you know but June Foray is famous in cartoon voice work. She was the voice of Rocket 'Rocky' J. Squirrel, Natasha Fatale, and Nell Fenwick in The Adventures of Bullwinkle and Rocky. She was also the voice of Witch Hazel in some of the Bugs Bunny cartoons and the orignial Betty Rubble in the pilot episode of The Flintsones. She has done lots of other voices her career. In my head I still can hear some of the voices she used in the Fractured Fairy Tales segments on the Bullwinkle and Rocky show. She has a big part in the warm memories I have about the cartoons from my childhood.
(You can find an article about her here.)
Thanks for sharing the article - I totally missed the name (maybe because I didn't pick up a Rocky!). At first, I didn't even recognize Ray's voice!
