On March 31, 1939, a Miss Loraine Fuehner of Latonia, Kentucky, sent a letter to Bob requesting a photograph. She received this response on July 25, 1939. A four month wait ... a very long wait for a young fan. I'm guessing she thought it all worthwhile.
