OK, Bob fans......and Carrie, you've had plenty of time to think about it. Who is your favorite of all of Bob's leading ladies? Mine is Rosalind Russell. He could be really funny with her. She was a match for him without being hard like Joan Crawford was.(Sorry Joan fans) Most of his other leading ladies were tiny, petite, sweet little things. Roz was his match. She also reminds me of me. LOL Tall, dark haired and a smart mouth. OK......lets hear everyone elses favorites!

My favorite of his leading ladies was Norma Shearer! Their chemistry was amazing!

Norma is one of my second choices Kelley. I adore "Private Lives" (SO FUNNY!!!) I also like Lombard. Too bad they didn't have a chance to make any more comedies together.

I have to agree about Roz, but I do like young Joan Crawford, too... Before she got larger than her co-stars and life.

Myrna Loy - potential!

Worst: Greta Garbo. I'm not saying she was a bad actress, just that Inspiration was a bad pairing w/Bob.

As soon as I submit this, I'm going to think of something else!

Hard to decide...I think my favorite pairing was with Norma Shearer in THEIR OWN DESIRE, but I also really like him with Madge Evans (LOVERS COURAGEOUS, FUGITIVE LOVERS) -- and he was absolutely terrific with Rosalind Russell in TROUBLE FOR TWO. I like short-ish movies but I really wished that one had been longer and developed their relationship even more fully. They were very cute together in the Sloan mystery, too.

I give up, can't pick!
