Picspam: Undercurrent (1946)
Picspamming my way through Robert Taylor month here. Today's offer: Undercurrent. Despite Katharine Hepburn seeming like an odd match, I think the film achieves a "wanted" awkwardness with her. I'm half way through - please, no spoilers!

I hope you did enjoy it!
Getting there! Robert Mitchum just showed up...
This is one I've got to see myself...loving Robert Taylor month -- and your photos!
Best wishes,
Laura
It makes me angry, that in some reviews of "Undercurrent" Robert Taylor is barely mentioned beside "big" names like Katharine Hepburn and Robert Mitchum... actually like always they didn't trust his acting capabilities.:(
"Undercurrent" was a good film to re-start after the war, a thrilling movie in my eyes.
THAT LAST PIMP MAKES ROBERT LOOK PIMP.
I am fully intrigued by this movie now!
I should have added that Undercurrent is available on DVD! I believe it's part of a Kate box set. ClassicFlix.com has it for rental (hmm..)
Yeah, what was the one review I read of RT's performance: "wooden." I really think it's the character - he's not exactly an outgoing, fun n crazy guy. Look at the woman he fell for: simple. Seemed odd to me - the rich guy who comes off as blah and introverted, despite the big ol party at the beginning.
Stelly, LOL, I had to read that one twice :0)
