Nevermind the Chrysler, I Want the Song

Late last year, Chrysler started running a television ad for it's Town and Country minivan. Everytime the black & white ad would play, my ear would pick it up and I'd "tune in" - it had the slickest background song: that 30s - 40s vibe. Around here, the commercial just started playing again after hiatus and I was determined to find out what the heck that song is:

Landmark Billboard?

Iran is threatening something "big" will happen on Feb. 11, maybe this is what they're referring to:

From NBCLosAngeles.com:

Trust For Public Lands, a nature conservation group, said it has reached a deal that would protect a huge swath of land above the Hollywood sign from being developed into luxury homes....

As part of its initiative to save land near the sign from development, Trust for Public Lands wants to cover the sign with a shroud that reads, "Save the Peak."

The LAPD sent out a community alert to Hollywood residents -- possibly because it might alarm people to find one of LA's most recognized 450-foot-long landmark wrapped in a giant blanket. Tim Ahern, a spokesman for the Trust, said the group is still waiting for permission from the city and the Hollywood Sign Trust....

Er, ok. That will make for an interesting photo if it goes through. Imagine being a tourist for one day in LA - the day the sign is covered. I'd be ticked.

Feb. 12 Update: Sign is on it's way up
