Fantastic!
Ted Weems' was one of the best bands that ever existed. I prefer their earlier material. It's even spunkier than this rhumba number.

If you have any album recommendations for a beginner, let me know! It looks like what is readily available on MP3 is "greatest hits" type collections.

I did not realize how old this song is, I've only heard the Pasty Cline version-

Heartaches, heartaches,
My loving you meant only heartaches.
Your kiss was such a sacred thing to me,
I can't believe it's just a burning memory.

Heartaches, heartaches,
What does it matter how my heart breaks?
I should be happy with some one new,
But my heart aches for you.

Love this version, too. They just don't whistle like that anymore, it's almost a lost art.

Recommendations on Ted Weems:
There's an album on the Jasmine label with his 24 greatest recordings all done around 1930. It's called From Saturday Night 'til Monday Morning.

If you want to dig a bit deeper there's the double album The Essential Ted Weems on the RTR label with 50 recordings from 1923-30.

Go for one of the two as you find most of the tracks on the single CD included in the 50 track set.
