Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing these. I'm looking forward to recording so many new-to-me movies during his "birthday festival" on TCM!

Best wishes,
Laura

I'd love to know what you think. The early ones are, well, early. The films get a lot better, imho, toward the mid to late 30s.

My recorder is set to go today, as well, as I'm just getting into pre-Code films. Thanks for the pictures.

Great pictures. Those who have TCM are sure lucky... I wish I could enjoy their tribute to Bob *sigh*

Craig - ain't pre-codes great! I'm fairly new to them as well.

Sebina - whenever we think about changing from satellite to cable tv, my first question is always "Do they have TCM." I guess that means I'm a loyal watcher! I somewhat take it for granted at times, too!

I'm definitely a loyal watcher: whenever the TV goes on, it's the channel I check first. My wife is even watching the pre-Codes with me (after we both read Complicated Women). We watched the first half of Strangers May Kiss last night.

You're lucky! When B&W comes on the TV here, you'd think it was the plague!
