Have limited DVR/VCR time? My picks:
- Hide-Out: I never pegged myself as a romantic comedy type, but this one hits the spot.
- The First Hundred Years: This one has a surprising appeal to me I can't put my finger on. Maybe it's the business woman in me (watch & find out).
- Mr. and Mrs. Smith: Thee best Bob movie? Hmm...
- Riptide: Weird. I'm still not 100 percent sure why they used bug costumes in the story-line.
- When Ladies Meet: Cute pairing with Myrna Loy and Ann Harding. Double this one up with the Robert Taylor, Joan Crawford version sometime.
- Their Own Desire: Another product of the Norconian Resort.

wow, that is a lot! I've never seen The First Hundred Years -- I wonder if that was one that was skipped when Shelley Winters' death preempted the SOTM schedule? I'll be taping every single one!
And you are the first person I've ever heard mention the strange bug costumes in Riptide... weren't they odd!?
I'm very excited to record RIPTIDE and THE FIRST 100 YEARS! What a great lineup of movies.
Best wishes,
Laura
Thanks for the heads-up! I've wanted to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith for quite a while now, but it seems like every time it's on I'm either in class or my roommates have the TV. Luckily I'll be home for it this time.
i just discovered your wonderful blog. i adore this guy so much. it is an amazing service you re doing!
oh boy oh boy oh boy, May is a fabulous month. If anyone has any information on Bob in Washington DC, I will be doing another searching for Bob trip in July.
Thanks for the schedule Carrie, you saved me from digging around.
:O)
Kate Gabrielle: Amen! Someone else who doesn't get the bug thing!
Princess: Smith = Love. If you miss it, buy it!
Pal: Thanks for stopping by and dropping a note!
Saw 'When Ladies Meet' last night and Bob was by far the best thing about it. He was definitely the "life of the party."
Favorite line: "Nine million caddies out of work and I pick the one with hay fever!"
I'm working hard to be as suave, witty, and charming...
EDIT: Corrected the quote, which is less wrong than before.
Dex: Watched the movie last nite, too. Not a big fan of the film, but love the chemistry between his & Ann Harding's character.
