RELATIVE? ... Bess, perhaps recognizing an old acquaintance in that photograph held by Robert Montgomery, pricks up her ears interestedly during a tour of the studio lot.  Bess, acclaimed by critics as the most amazingly trained animal in the nation, makes her screen bow in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's spectacular outdoor Cine-color production, "Gallant Bess," with Marshall Thompson and George Tobias.  Andrew Marton directed, Harry Rapf produced.
