Bob appears in this episode of What's My Line as the mystery guest. The episode dates from Jan. 13, 1957. He also brought along a few of his past characters...too funny.
I loved Lawford's line, "do you have anything to do with shoe wax." Lol, I'm sure Johnson's Wax was "real" happy with that!
I had the video all prepped to upload to YouTube (figured it out) then someone beat me to it! I'll have to get Bob's appearance on The Name's The Same up.
Watched it this morning and was both surprised and delighted to find out he was the mystery guest. The more I see of the real Robert Montgomery, the more I like the man. :)

ReplyDeleteHe's one film actor that really got along well with the television camera. Some film stars just look plain uncomfortable on tv.
