I was just thinking. Technically, he isn't a killer in the movie, unless you count the kitten. Just nuts. Ok, I'm cool with that. The character is so empty anyway, Bob not "showing up for work" does the trick!
I have always liked George Sanders, what a sad story there though. Bob, imho, makes a uh.. well.. ok here it is.. Hot nutjob. He is so cute in his romantic comedies, when he is tight and has on that little grin, but to see him like this, sinister, I really liked him. One of my favorite movies.
He always made one sexy psychotic killer, lol

ReplyDeleteI agree, he was good as killers, or indeed any type of man with a surface that belied what was underneath. He always gave layered performances.
