Now I realize they usually change things when screenplays are written, but I was fascinated by the original ending. It is certainly a strange one, but I felt much more effective than the whitewashed Hollywood 30's ending that was filmed. It might be used if filmed today, but they would surely add all the gory details for you to see and take away from the concentration on character. Oh well, I can still imagine that ending in my mind. :)
Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01453544138155152199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24099431.post-77919037445181016662018-11-02T02:50:32.924-05:002018-11-02T02:50:32.924-05:00Debbie: Thanks for filling in for me the past two...Debbie: Thanks for filling in for me the past two weeks ... truly enjoyed the break, as well as your NMF series. Particularly enjoyed reading about the changes to the ending, not having realized the extent it was changed re Danny and Olivia. And Bob and Roz certainly could have carried it off, two excellent actors who worked so well together.
Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04838497966072192364noreply@blogger.com
